Bishop  John Crenshaw

Bishop John Crenshaw is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving as sergeant until receiving an honorable discharge, and a National Defense Service Medal in 1976. He is also a retired freight Driver for ABF Freight Company with more than 20 years of service.  Bishop Crenshaw graduated from Washington Holmes Technical School and later attended the Word of Life Bible College in Mobile Alabama. He was called into the ministry, and in 1989 founded New Life Christian Fellowship, which was later changed to Kingdom Life Worship Center in 2009, one church two locations, both Pensacola, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia.  

Bishop Crenshaw has served as a member of the Christian Multi-Cultural Economic Development Alliance, in Pensacola, Florida, the Vice- President of the Excel Empowerment Center, a community based program that equips individuals with the tools and skills to improve their economical, educational and social status through application of biblical principles. Bishop John Crenshaw, has ministered in the U.S., London, West Africa, and is known for his commitment to prayer.

His support to Community based programs and his love for people, by going the extra mile, favored him to be featured in the September 2000 issue of  the Gospel Today Magazine ,as one of America’s most loved Pastors. And in 2017, he received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity from the Trinity International University of Ambassadors for his years of service in building the Kingdom. And in November 2019, he received recognition and  awarded the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award signed by the Secretary  of State Brad Raffensperger. 

Bishop John Crenshaw founded New Life Christian Fellowship in 1988 in Pensacola, Fl and in 2009  Kingdom Life Worship Center in Atlanta, Ga. along with his wife Dr. Janice Crenshaw. They have three children and four grand-children.  Bishop Crenshaw is known for his passion for prayer.

Dr. Janice Crenshaw................   Biography


Minister, Nurse, Book Author, Song Writer, Recording Artist, and Entrepreneur are just some of the titles that Wife and Mother, Dr. Janice Crenshaw can lay claim to. She has proven herself to be a woman of excellence, listed in Who’s Who Worldwide, holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing.  She later went on to receive her Doctorate in Divinity, graduating at the top of her class as Valedictorian.  

Dr. Crenshaw has a track record of achievement, to include the Author of four books and three gospel recording CDs, and an impressive background in healthcare of more than 35 years of experience in a variety of Management, Consulting and Administrative roles. 

She has had the opportunity to touch lives through ministry across the United States, London, Africa, and Germany that has inspired and provoked many to discover their internal greatness. Her diverse talents in ministry and in business has favored her interviews and appearances on various local, regional radio and International Television programs, to include Atlanta Live, the International TBN network, The WORD Network, and TCT Network.  

Dr. Crenshaw has served the Community in a variety of roles to include, the Florida Black Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, The University of West Florida Advisory Board for the College of Professional Studies, a member of the Physical Health Panel for the United Way, and for years facilitated mentoring initiatives in collaboration with the Escambia County, Florida School System in support of student achievement on State testing.     

As President of Excel CDC, Inc. she facilitated mentoring programs for incarcerated women and taught a biblically based Life Skills course for more than 3 years to female inmates, with the goal of equipping them with the spiritual insight on how to overcome past failures.  This Six session life skills workbook Transforming Breakdowns into Breakthroughs: Discover your journey to a brighter future, includes testimonials of women whose lives have been transformed by the Word of God, and are now successful productive citizens in society. The Curriculum is currently being used to help individuals, in Georgia with Behavioral Disorders and Developmental Disabilities, develop more effective life skills to sustain gainful employment.

Her dedication to serve the community afforded her the Honor of receiving a Letter of Commendation from the White House in 2013, signed by First Lady Michelle Obama, and Mayor Ashston Hayward of Pensacola, Florida for the organization of Citywide Prayer Walks to fight against violence and crime, to include the facilitation of other community services to better the lives of those in need. In 2016, she was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Barack Obama. And in November 2019, she received recognition and awarded the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award signed by the Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. 

Dr. Crenshaw is married to Bishop John Crenshaw. Together they founded New Life Christian Fellowship in Pensacola, Fl in 1989, and in 2009 founded Kingdom Life Worship Center in Atlanta, Ga.   They have three talented children, and four grand-children.
